Membership/Development AssociateThe Membership/Development Associate at the Harvard Museum of Natural History will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, and will respond to rapidly changing demands in a small high-energy office. S/he will assist in the coordination of activities including museum membership, annual appeal, and donor relations. Responsibilities and duties include communications with HMNH members, processing memberships and donations, assisting in planning and execution of special events, and general administrative tasks for department. Bachelors degree and 2-3 years related experience preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities. Experience with FileMaker PRO and Microsoft Office Suite essential. Familiarity with BSR/Advance and Harvard fundraising a plus. Some evening and weekend work on an as-needed basis. Part-time Visitor Services RepresentativeThis is a part-time, six-month term position through October serving as a member of the front line staff for the Harvard Museum of Natural History. The Visitor Services Representative will provide the highest level of customer service to ensure that all museum visitors have a positive experience. Welcomes visitors and groups, processes admissions, and conveys general museum information to the public in a professional manner. Requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, computer aptitude, punctuality, and a positive team-oriented approach.
