The Harvard Museum of Natural History presents weekend afternoon programs for middle-school children and their families. Renowned authors, Harvard faculty, and other scientists offer educational and entertaining presentations on their latest work.

Lectures + special events

The Harvard Museum of Natural History presents engaging lectures and programs to excite the public about natural history including the Shellshocked: Saving Oysters to Save Ourselves, a film screening and discussion with the filmmaker Emily Driscoll and George Buckley, Harvard Extension School. Following the film discussion sample farmed oysters and watch an oyster shucking demonstration by Chris Sherman, Island Creek Oysters. Regular admission rates apply.
