As availability is limited, we recommend that programs be reserved as
far in advance as possible. Groups that arrive at the museum for
self-guided tours without reservations will not receive the group
discount.

Reservations Requests

or fax to 617.496.8308 to begin the reservations process. When the request has been reviewed, you will be contacted by the education department to complete the reservation.
Following a confirmed reservation, a packet will be mailed to you.
Please review the information carefully. Be sure to call us if anything is incorrect.

Payment Methods
Checks: Single check made payable to Harvard University.
Credit Cards: MC, VISA, or AMEX
Cash: Large bills please.
Purchase Orders: Arrange at least one week before your visit with the Education Department.
Bring payment with you on the day of your visit.
Financial Aid
Learn about grants for field trip expenses through Target Field Trips and the Massachusetts Cultural Council Big Yellow School Bus program.
Cancellations
Notify the Education Department immediately by phone. Groups cancelling within
two weeks prior to a scheduled program will be charged the full program
fee.
Parking
Bus drop-off and pick-up is permitted, but there is no bus parking
available at the museum. Refer to the confirmation
packet for bus and car parking options. Please note: Drop-off arrangements have changed since last year.
Chaperones
Chaperones
must stay with their students at all times and are responsible for the
safety and proper conduct of the group. One adult is required for every five students (grades K-8). Contact us about requirements for older students.
Lunch options
Your group may eat on
the lawn in front of the museum. During inclement weather, groups may
eat in our lobby area. Lobby space is limited and available on a
first-come, first-served basis.
Sorry, we do not have a snack bar or dining facilities.
Museum Shop
The Museum Shop offers many interesting and educational items that can
spark curiosity and extend the learning experience. Please have chaperones stay with students
when visiting the shop.
