Join
us for a journey filled with the sights that symbolize northern
Europe to all the world: the midnight sun, the Arctic circle,
Viking longboats, massive icebergs, and wildlife adapted to
an environment of snow and sea. Travel west from Norway, through the narrow passageways of some of the most beautiful
fjords in the world. Board Zodiacs and sail beneath precipitous
cliffs where Atlantic puffins, fulmars, gannets, shags, kittiwakes,
and many more crowd every available ledge and niche. Cruise
along the rugged coastline, calving glaciers, and spectacular
fjords looking for polar bears, walrus, nesting sea birds,
seals, Arctic fox and reindeer, among other species. These
quiet shores are rich in wildlife, rugged scenery, archeology
and history. Cruise to the Shetland and Orkney Islands, where you’ll find the greatest concentration
of prehistoric sites in Europe.
