Double occupancy: From $11,980 per person

Immerse yourself in the natural and cultural treasures of the western coast of South America. The nutrient-rich Humboldt Current supports huge concentrations of wildlife: nesting seabirds, including Inca terns; dolphins and whales; sea lions and seals; and courting bluefooted boobies. The dazzling vistas of snowcapped Andes, vast Atacama Desert, and rugged Pacific coast are a photographer's dream. This itinerary showcases ancient adobe villages; colorful Indian townships, renowned for their textiles; and ruins of historical and cultural significance, including several World Heritage Sites and the option to fly over Peru's mysterious Nazca Lines.
