Learn about reptiles and amphibians through close observation and then try your hand at capturing them with pencil and paper. Harvard herpetologist Jenni Austin will discuss the science of reptiles, while artist and educator Erica Beade will introduce techniques for capturing forms more accurately, drawing reptile eyes in a way that brings them to life, and capturing scale textures. The group will be limited to 12 participants, allowing ample time for individual feedback. All skill levels are welcome.
