Location

Harvard Museum of Natural History

Free In-Person Event

Join us for a free night of puzzling adventures at the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, designed with our friends from FableVision Studios and Green Door Labs

Last semester, the Harvard Museum of Natural History introduced a playful, exclusive certificate in CRYPTOzoology. After a successful application cycle, and to keep up with emerging technologies, the museum has decided to introduce a new concentration: AI-nimal Science. Be among the first to “apply” for these prestigious programs by tackling a series of lighthearted, museum-based puzzles that will test your powers of deduction and close looking. Our Admission Counselors—also known as Game Masters—will be on hand throughout the evening to guide you, answer questions, and keep the adventure on track. Both the AI-nimal Science and CRYPTOzoology applications will be available.

The puzzle activity is recommended for adults ages 18+ and is best enjoyed in groups of 2–5. Most groups will take about 60–90 minutes to complete the experience.

Not in a puzzle-solving mood? No problem—there’s still plenty to enjoy!

Guests are also welcome to explore the museum galleries at their own pace, purchase and enjoy a selection of beverages (valid government ID required for alcoholic drinks), and enter a free raffle for a chance to win museum gifts and an HMSC membership.

Free and open to the public.

Let us know you are coming! RSVPs are encouraged, but walk-in visitors are always welcome.

Free event parking is available with registration at the 52 Oxford Street Garage, 4:30–9:30 pm. Register by September 23 to receive parking registration instructions.

ArtsThursdays is a university-wide initiative supported by Harvard University Committee on the Arts.
