#### Lecture and book signing with Sean B. Carroll

Evolutionary biologist Sean Carroll chronicles the remarkable friendship of philosopher Albert Camus and biologist Jacques Monod, from their leadership in the French Resistance during WWII, to later accomplishments that included being awarded Nobel Prizes in their respective fields.

The lecture will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Jon Beckwith, American Cancer Society Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Harvard Medical School, who worked with Jacques Monod while at the Pasteur Institute in the mid-1960s.
