Explore rocks and minerals found here in New England and across North America. Learn how North America was formed and has changed over the past 600 million years through hands-on activities and segments from the new *NOVA*-WGBH series, *Making North America*.

Activities include:

**Fossils Millions of Years Old**  
Examine authentic New England fossils older than dinosaurs

**Science Can Dance!**  
Explore geology through creative movement and dance choreography with scientists from Gique

**Explore Sand**  
Investigate with magnets, magnifiers, and microscopes to see differences in sand from around New England

**Making North America video clips**  
View highlights from the new NOVA series airing now on PBS

**Bring a Mystery Mineral**  
Want to know more about a mineral from your collection? Ask the experts of the Boston Mineral Club!

**Curator’s Corner**  
Meet Dr. Raquel Alonso-Perez, curator of Harvard’s Mineralogical &amp; Geological Museum, to view some of her favorite “behind-the-scenes” minerals (1:00–3:00 pm)
