Study the secretive world of owls! Learn together with hands-on activities about bird beaks and feet and do up-close observation of real specimens from our museum collections. Learn about the specific owl adaptations that make them the incredible nocturnal predators they are by investigating real feathers and bones! Dig even deeper by dissecting real owl pellets to learn the identity of an owl’s midnight snack. Listen carefully as you learn to identify owls by call. All activities are designed to be a fun and interactive experience for elementary age students and their families to participate in together  
  
Fees: $10 members/$20 nonmembers, per person including admission to the museum. Participants are encouraged to come early or stay late and explore the museum before or after class. These programs are not appropriate for children under 5 years of age. Advanced registration required. Families must register at least one adult and one child for this program.
