DESCRIPTION:<p>	<img alt="Rows of 3D printed frogs." src="https://static.hwpi.harvard.edu/files/styles/os_files_xlarge/public/hmnh/files/frogs_pd.jpg?m=1607699956&amp;itok=P5IxEk1-" style="width: 432px; height: 207px;" title=""></p><p>	<em>Intended for middle school educators</em></p><p>	Using 3D-printed models of frog specimens from the Museum of Comparative Zoology collections, participants will explore the concepts of heredity, variation, survival and adaptations. This program will cover the same lesson as the middle school version while focusing on elementary grade standards and practices.</p><p>	Session is free but a refundable deposit of $50 is required.</p><p>	 </p><p>	<strong>This program is full. Please email </strong><a href="mailto:hmnhreserve@hmsc.harvard.edu">Reservations</a><strong> to be added to the wait list.</strong></p><p>	 </p><p>	<strong>Stipends and free programs:</strong></p><p>	Each participant will receive a $50 stipend upon completing the PD program. They will also be eligible for free virtual programs (through June 2021) for their students, that are related to the PD they have completed. These programs will be taught by HMNH educators.</p><p>	<strong>PDPs</strong></p><p>	In order to earn PDPs, participants must complete at least ten hours of training. This can include any combination of PD sessions and classroom teaching. One PD session and associated pre- and post-work = 5 PDPs. One PD session + teaching the lesson to your class (including our virtual lesson for your classroom) = 10 PDPs.</p><p>	<em>This program is made possible in part through a generous grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (MA-10-18-0311)</em></p>
