Dive deep into the world of insects, spiders, and other invertebrates. Examine the many amazing adaptations that make these creatures the most successful organisms on Earth. Use a microscope to study anatomy and metamorphosis, get face- to- face with a live tarantula, and learn why spiders and other arachnids are more closely related to horseshoe crabs than their six-legged counterparts. Explore the museum’s arthropod and marine galleries and search and capture invertebrates of your own using a variety of humane? traps made of household items.
