Enjoy craft activities for the young and young at heart. Personalize a sugar skull (extra fee), learn about the natural history of Mexico, watch live folk dance and mariachi performances, purchase traditional <em>pan de muerto</em>,  hot chocolate or specialty cocktails. Contribute your message of love to honor and celebrate the lives of the departed at the museum’s altars. <em>Catrinas</em> and <em>catrines</em> are welcome.</p><h3>	Starting at 5:00 pm</h3><ul>	<li>		View altars and contribute a message of love.	</li>	<li>		Meet visiting artist <a href="https://hmsc.harvard.edu/pedro-mendoza-ortega/" title="">Pedro Mendoza Ortega</a> from Oaxaca, Mexico to learn about the papier-mâché creations on the altars.	</li>	<li>		Mexican figurines: browse a selection of <em>alebrijes</em> from Oaxacan artist Norberto Fabian. Carvings are available for purchase.  	</li>	<li>		Search the Peabody Museum and the connected Harvard Museum of Natural History for Mexican flags marking animals, flowers, and minerals from the country.	</li>	<li>		Snack on <em>pan de muerto</em> ($4) and hot chocolate ($5). 	</li>	<li>		Specialty cocktails and mocktails are available for purchase.	</li></ul><h3>	5:30–8:30 pm </h3><ul>	<li>		Mariachi Veritas and Harvard RAZA Ballet Folklorico performances	</li>	<li>		Kids mask, paper flower, and papel picado banner crafts	</li>	<li>		Natural History of Mexico demonstrations	</li>	<li>		Sugar skull decorating ($5 small or $10 large)	</li></ul><p>	<em>Free admission.
