Self-Guided Visits
With signage, videos, and interactive displays throughout the galleries, visitors do not need a tour guide to enjoy the museum and the 12,000 specimens on display.
Registration
Please register your group at least two weeks in advance. We are unable to offer the group-visit discount to groups that do not pre-register.

Payment and Attendance Policy
- We request payment by credit card, if possible, which supports our environmental sustainability goals and reduces administrative costs.
- Payment is due by the day of the scheduled visit. Payment in advance is welcome.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Credit Card (preferred), Cash, or Check (payable to Harvard University). Purchase Orders (PO) must be arranged with our office in advance.
- Refunds: No refunds will be issued if your group arrives with fewer people than booked.
- Headcount Changes: You may adjust your participant numbers up to three business days before your trip.
- Day-of Additions: If you bring more than three (3) additional guests, they will be charged regular walk-in rates ($15 per student / $20 per adult).
Drop-off and Parking
There is easy drop-off at the museum (on Oxford Street, see map) for buses, with off-site parking available on campus. Please include parking needs on the reservation form.

In-Person Glass Flower Group Tours
Groups can reserve private docent-led tours that delve into the history, artistry, and significance of the Blaschka collections. These interactive tours give participants the opportunity to explore the galleries, and they offer time for Q&A with knowledgeable guides. Advance registration required.
Tours are not required to visit the Glass Flower Gallery. General admission includes access to the Glass Flowers Gallery.
Onsite docent-led group tours of the Glass Flowers are approximately one hour long and can be scheduled most weekday afternoons after 1:30 pm with some flexibility for special requests.
Tours start at $250 for groups of 10 or fewer, and there is a $25 fee per additional person. Fees include access to all HMSC museums and galleries on the day of the tour. A maximum of 15 people are permitted per tour to allow for an interactive experience, but larger groups can be divided into multiple sections. HMSC Members at Contributing or Benefactor levels receive a 20% discount on private group tours.
Registration for Glass Flowers Group Tours
Please register your group at least two weeks in advance. A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required at the time of reservation, with the remaining fee due one week in advance of the program. Tour fees are nonrefundable.

Prepaid Museum Passes for Educational Institutions
Colleges, high schools, and other institutions can purchase blocks of individual tickets at the discounted group rate. Faculty, students, and staff will have the opportunity to visit at any convenient time and still benefit from the $3.00 discount.
The minimum purchase is 10 passes.
Students under 18: $12.00

Faculty/staff adults: $17.00
